Sudha Yadav is an Indian politician and a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, including being part of their Parliamentary Board which is the party's apex organizational body. Elected from Mahendragarh, Haryana as a BJP candidate,
she served as a member of the 13th Lok Sabha from 1999 to 2004. Her recent induction to the BJP’s Parliamentary Board as well as the Central Election Committee has made her the only woman to hold the posts after the demise of senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj. She has also served as an Honorable Member of the National Commission for Backward Classes, Government of India from 2019-2022.
Sudha Yadav was a member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Defence from 1999 to 2000, a member of the Committee on Official Language and a member of the Hindi Salahakar Samiti of the Ministry of Civil Aviation. From 2000 to 2001, she was also a member in the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Empowerment of Women, and from 2000 to 2004, a member in the Consultative Committee, Ministry of Communications.
