Recently WHO(World Health Organisation) has released 23rd edition of the Model lists of Essential Medicines(EML) as well as the Essential Medicines for Children(EMLc).

The updated lists which is published in July 2023 include various additions of new medicines that are aimed at treating variety of health conditions that include multiple sclerosis, cancer, infectious diseases and cardiovascular conditions.
